THE Accounting Solution in FileMaker

The Genesis Accounting Financial Suite consists of two primary modules which may be purchased together or separately:

Genesis Accounting™ - A complete general ledger accounting solution written in FileMaker Pro® by accounting professionals and top FileMaker Pro® programmers. Integrate accounting into your solution.

Genesis Business Metrics™- A powerful tool for turning financial data into valuable information. Unique visual presentations communicate the interaction between related pieces of accounting data, bringing the whole financial picture into focus. Multilevel financial statements, budgets, and comparisons facilitate planning processes.

Genesis Accounting™

Use this unique package in two ways:

As an integral part of the Genesis Business Operating Environment®, an enterprise business system that offers complete transaction and General Ledger accounting in one integrated information matrix.

Merge it with your FileMaker solution to provide a seamless integration of all your business processes. This enables automatic posting of customer and vendor transactions from your FileMaker files to the Genesis Accounting™ FileMaker files. No more export/import or manual re-entry. Obtain the benefit of live, real time accounting data viewed in your files and up to the minute accounting reports and financial statements from the accounting files.

New Millennium works with both independent FileMaker Developers and in-house FileMaker programmers to merge Genesis Accounting™ with existing internal or commercial solutions. Genesis Accounting™ contains generic accounting features that work with a broad range of front-end solutions.

The accounting files are designed to be easily merged into your solution. To integrate your solution with Genesis Accounting™, you will use the Genesis Link file. The Link file is the connecting link between your files and the Genesis Accounting™ files. We have built nearly all the integration functionality into this file. You will need only to create in your files a few scripts, layouts, and fields and then remap the Link file relationships, field definitions, and scripts to your files. We provide complete documentation of the integration process and in-depth technical support to make the integration as straightforward as possible.

In the resulting integrated files, invoicing or billing files in the your FileMaker solution are linked to the Genesis Accounting™ Accounts Receivable file; posting invoices in your Invoices file creates records in the A/R file. Similarly, purchasing files are linked to Accounts Payable; posting POs in your PO file creates records in A/P. Both types of transactions post through to the General Ledger. Customer and vendor information stored in contacts files are looked up into the accounting files. The accounting files can be modified to use your existing password structures.

New Millennium licenses Genesis Accounting™ to FileMaker Developers and in-house FileMaker programmers for $5,000 for the first five users, and $2,500 for each additional set of five users, with integration support available at our standard consulting rates. New Millennium also provides training in the integration of Genesis Accounting™ with existing solutions.
